  6. Go to Advanced Options> SIM card
  7. Type alt-MEPT by holding the ALT-key and typing the letters MEPT with multitap
  8. The phone prompts for a Network MEP code
  9. Enter the unlock code and press Enter
  10. Restart your Blackberry phone
  11. Switch ON again
  12. The phone is unlocked automatically
