Recently my girlfriend and I bought the Motorola Q9h from AT&T. GSM Liberty was able to create the unlock code for one - but was having a difficult time with the second Q. I decided to Call AT&T and explain why I needed the phone unlocked. The rep there emailed me the unlock code - except that it was incorrect and after multiple failed attempts to make it work, the phone was "permanently" locked to AT&T.
GSM Liberty generated the code - and told me how to get around the permanent lock within the Q.
This is the 3rd time GSM Liberty has come through! You guys are terrific and reasonably priced. I will "sing your praises" to anyone I know who wants to unlock their phone! Thanks
