The North American version of the MPX-200 comes with the 900mhz feature disabled.
This firmware flash unlocks this ability and allows you to use the 900mhz feature,
making your phone a tri-band phone that works on all five continents of the
world.
The update also happens to:
- Fix some original bugs in the mpx software, such as the known callerid issue.
- Improves battery life
- Enables MMS functions
- Totally debrand your phone and remove ugly startup and service carrier customizations
- Unlocks new functions and features.
Please note that once this flash is complete it is not reversible and all data
of the phone is wiped.
Only way to go back to original firmware is to obtain it from service provider.
