Purchased a Treo 650 on ebay that was locked to Cingular. Not a single wireless shop in town could unlock this phone. Finally searched the internet and came across GSM Liberty by accident. Read the past reviews and thought I'd chance purchasing the unlock service for this phone.
I received my receipt and user/password info in a heartbeat via email. I'm not a computer buff, but was able to follow the user-friendly instructions. In about 20 minutes, following the instructions slowly & careful, I UNLOCKED my Treo! Now I'm able to use my original GSM carrier sim card in this new Treo. GSM Liberty is the REAL DEAL!
Be sure to turn off the network firewall on your computer and be sure to turn it back on after unlocking your phone. Just follow the given instructions and you'll be set!
