Before you get service after the unlock you have to enable the GSM mode and may have to add the APN for your carrier. As you can see in the video for ATT it was wap.cingular. GSMLiberty had the unlock code to me within 2 hours; longer then claimed on their website but I think that was due to the fact I placed my order at 3am on a sunday. But the code works and the site is easy to navigate. I spent hours and hours researching and trying to find another method to unlcok this phone. An unlock code is the ONLY way it will work; regardless of if your phone is stock or rooted or otherwise modded. BTW unlock your sim BEFORE flashing other ROMs on the phone. It will save you a great deal of time.

I successfully unlocked my (formerly Verizon) HTC Droid Incredible 2 using http://www.gsmliberty.net/shop/htc-droid-incredible-unlock-codes-p-3384.html and put a Straight Talk \"Bring your own phone\" GSM sim card in, and activated it. The site promised a 3-10 minute response time, but it took overnight in this case. I\'m still happy with it. On the droid itself, I also had to go into the settings and choose GSM mode, and immediately a text from Straight Talk came through, and my new number worked as well.

After much research online, I chose GSMLiberty.net to unlock my phone\'s SIM. I chose them for the following reasons: + According to their privacy policy, they do not store any of your personal info (such as IMEI number) + You can pay for the unlocking service with PayPal, in case you are skeptical about giving your payment info to a new company for a one-time payment. I haven\'t tried this without a Verizon/Vodafone SIM card. If you do not have a Verizon/Vodafone SIM card, try switching the network mode to \'Global\' and see if the unlock code will work. Hey All! I unlocked this phone using the site GSMliberty.com, the code came in about 7 minutes which is extremely fast, and i was very satisfied with their customer service. everything was quick and easy, and i DEFINITELY recommend them! Once again this is the HTC droid incredible two being unlocked from verizon to t-mobile. Thank you!
