The following is GSMLiberty’s terms of service document . Any access and use of this service is governed by this document and by using our services you agree to abide by conditions set forth in this document and our refund policy.

Refund and Cancelation Policy
Services offered by GSMliberty (GSMliberty.net) are guaranteed with a full refund should any of the following conditions arise:
- An unlock code and/or software was sent and upon entering the code As instructed the service failed to render the phone network unlocked.
- No code or software was has been sent yet.
- No code was found
If an unlock code has already been sent out or the service that has been otherwise delivered fails to network unlock the phone in question, Refunds will be issued after proper investigation of the clients claim. This investigation **will** require the client to submit proof, including and not limited to: Photographic evidence, Screen Shots, and detailed description of the error/defectiveness of the product. In the case an alternative method of supplying a service is available the client will be supplied with that service, prior to being offered a refund.
Wrong Phone Information Provided
Please note our refund policy does not cover negligence to follow instructions or failure to provide correct information, this includes and is not limited to :
- Failure to provide the correct phone IMEI (serial number), Model number , Carrier the phone is locked to or any other information requested to assist in unlocking your phone.
- Failure to follow correct instructions on how to enter the unlock code.
- Failure to follow correct software instructions.
- Any improper use of information provided outside of the scope.
Cancelling Processing Orders
Please note order cancellations are only possible if the order has not been processed or delivered yet and the quoted time frame fulfilling your order has not yet elapsed . Due to the nature of products sold, orders will not be canceled after unlock login, code or any other information pertaining to unlocking the phone in question has been sent out. No exceptions
Phone already unlocked
It is your responsibility to make sure that your phone requires unlocking before requesting an unlock service from GSMliberty. If your order has been delivered (phone unlock information sent out) and you determine that this information is not required (example: Phone is already unlocked) a refund will NOT be issued period
Try before you buy
Certain services GSMliberty offer allow the client to conduct a free of charge compatibility test that verifies the products compatibility with the clients phone. The client may access such free tests via the services individual product description page PRIOR to purchase. We URGE all clients to make FULL use of such tests where available PRIOR to purchase as any incompatibility discovered after purchase as a result of negligence to carry out compatibility tests will not stipulate grounds for refunds.
While GSMliberty utilizes only tested and safe service software , it is paramount that the client follows instructions exactly as listed on the GSMliberty website or in instructions provided. GSMliberty does not accept responsibility for any damage caused to any headset as a result of not properly following instructions or any other reason. Please use at your own discretion.

Time Frame for Delivery
Our delivery time frames are based on a 95% confidence interval that your order will be fulfilled within the time frame quoted. Please note that it is always in our best interest to have your order delivered as soon as physically and logistically possible and any delays or extended time frames are due to the channels in which this order is fulfilled and not some intentional delay on our part. That said, please note that delays resulting from the following do not qualify you for a time based refund:
- Wrong information provided: This includes IMEI, model, carrier or any other information pertaining to your phone and getting it unlocked
- Payment verification issues: If your order requires manual verification, delays resulting from this verification process do not qualify you for a delivery time refund guarantee.
- Re-quoted and Approved Time Frames: In certain instances we might be able to process and full-fill your order through an alternative channel that might have different delivery time frames. You will be informed of this change of ETA and given the option to either cancel your order or approve the new estimated time of arrival for your order. If you approve this new time frame , we cannot cancel or refund your order prior to the newly quoted time frame passing.
If your order is delivered past the time frame quoted please do notify us and your order will be refunded.
Legality of Unlocking
The services provided on this website are strictly limited to the legal owner of the phone. Unlocking your phone is legal Canada , The UK, Europe, South America and most countries other around the world. Please make sure it is legal to unlock your phone in the country you reside in.
January 2013 Update
If you reside in the USA, there has been an amendment to the legality of unlocking cell phones, it is imperative you read the following article we have posted :
In particular: In lieu of this update we hereby notify you that due to the recent legislation passed by the Library of Congress for the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will be unable to provide unlocking services to US client who wish to unlock devices that where manufactured on January 26th, 2013 and later.
If you are from the USA , It is your responsibility to make sure that your phone is manufactured before January 26th of 2013 prior to requesting an unlock service from GSMLiberty. We will not be held liable for unknowingly unlocking a device that was made from this date onwards and ask you to refrain from making an order should this be the case.
Legality of Changing IMEI
It is illegal to alter or change IMEI numbers on cellular phones, punishable with up to 5 years in prison. If you ask us to do this, or how to do it we will delete your email. We will not do it for anyone or for any reason so do not ask. If your phone has been reported lost or stolen, please don’t ask us for service as you will be reported and our services will not work.
We at GSMliberty.com are strong believers in privacy, we will NEVER resell your information or otherwise use it in any manner that does not assist in completing your order
GSMliberty.com will NEVER email you asking you for your credit card information or account password and/or any other sensitive financial information.
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

- Telephone number
- Email Address
- Phone Specific Information (IMEI, Carrier, Model , etc..)
- ISP specific information (IP Address, IP Geo Location, Internet Provider)
All this information is collected to help complete your order ONLY it will never be used for any other purpose
Financial Information Storage
For our mutual benefit and security, we do not store any financially sensitive information about your order. This includes credit cards, CVD (3-4 digits on back of your card) .
We simply pass this information at the time of making the order over a PCI compliant and secure connection to our payment processors that take care of authorizing your payment.
This communication is done over an SSL (256-bit encryption ) encrypted channel that verifies end point communication and ensures the safe delivery of your information to the respective financial party.
At this current time (November 28, 2015) GSMLiberty conducts all it’s Credit card transactions through it’s payment processing in Canada and charges in CAD (Read: Canadian dollars).
Credit Card Billing
At the time of making your purchase we obtain a Pre-authorization to charge your credit card in Canadian dollars. Your order is only fully charged (amounts deducted from your card) only after we successful deliver your order.
If for any reason a technical issue has caused a duplicate charge on your order (Ex: Pressing the back or refresh button on your browser while waiting for your order confirmation ) , please notify us Immediately and we will have your duplicate charges refunded. We would like to assure you this is not intentional.
We at GSMliberty do not tolerate internet fraud involving identify theft and or financial fraud , vis-a-vis stolen or non authorized credit cards. Please be advised that all fraudulent attempts are persecuted (as permitted by law) and information collected at the time of order can and will be used to corroborate claims of fraud, this includes and is not limited to:
- Banning IMEIs: We do our best to notify respective parties of stolen IMEIs and IMEIs involved in fraud.
- Reporting Stolen Cards: If you are involved in fraud , we will provide local authorities with information pertaining to your order to prevent this from happening again.
- Reporting IP and Address information : If you are involved in fraud , we will provide local authorities with information pertaining to your order to prevent this from happening again.
On a moral basis fraud is reprehensible and in the end results in prices and quality of service (fraud checks) deteriorating for everyone involved. Do not engage in it.
If you believe you have been a victim of fraud or any unauthorized transaction conducted through our website, please do email us immediately at : [email protected] . You will have our full cooperation and support (as permitted by law) in handling the issue
For the above mentioned reasons, a very small percentage of orders are flagged by our systems for verification and will require manual verification by GSMliberty staff , this is usually conducted and completed with 24 business hours and you will be notified of the outcome and of any further information that is required to process your order. If you order fails to pass verification your order will be canceled and any funds refunded in full if applicable.
