I used GSMLiberty to unlock my blackberry which was previously locked to the network 3 in the United Kingdom. The second attempt worked successfully and I have been using it since. I should also mention I used the chat service that pops up on the bottom of the screen and spoke to one of the advisor\’s who aided me on unlocking my phone, my query was whether the Network 3 – Hutchinson was the same as the generic 3 Network in the United Kingdom. The answer is, yes it is.
