Some one gave me an old T-Mobile phone that I wanted to use on AT&T for my kid. I searched around the net, and for a Nokia phone like this GSMLiberty.net had the most reasonable price, got me the code, and it worked! My kid would rather have a smart phone, but this is less of a big deal if lost or dropped… 🙂 Apparently this is a tricky phone to unlock, after a day their first unlock server couldn\’t find an unlock. They offered to try with a Nokia-specific server or refund my money (a much appreciated offer), I had them keep trying and a week later I had an unlock code. Their customer service was quite responsive, and I\’m happy to have an unlocked phone now.
