After much research online, I chose GSMLiberty.net to unlock my phone\’s SIM. I chose them for the following reasons: + According to their privacy policy, they do not store any of your personal info (such as IMEI number) + You can pay for the unlocking service with PayPal, in case you are skeptical about giving your payment info to a new company for a one-time payment. I haven\’t tried this without a Verizon/Vodafone SIM card. If you do not have a Verizon/Vodafone SIM card, try switching the network mode to \’Global\’ and see if the unlock code will work.
